The King in Yellow is a very famous and seminal work in the world of Fantasy fiction. Written by Robert Chambers, the collection was published in 1895. One of the most famous of the tales is one called “The Repairer of Reputations.” It’s probably best if you’re acquainted with it prior to reading the Literary Blogorama.
The most troubling thing about politics during the George Dubya Bush era was how easily the American people were willing to surrender up their rights. When Obama came along, it was simply more of the same. I used the Chamber’s story as a basis to muse about psyops, and thought manipulation.
