Condoleezza Rice as Secretary of State
I love listening to Condoleezza Rice speeches. She always talks about bringing liberty to the four corners of the earth. There's no one who has better promoted democracy as the vehicle of change (read "war"). And she does it so nicely, like the smart older sister explaining to the neighborhood kids why the next time they break old Mr. Wilson's window with a baseball, old Mr. Wilson is going to have to take out his nine gauge and shoot them all.
Anyhow, I figure when the war really begins, no doubt after some clever Muslim fringe group topples Musharraf and gets hold of some actual ballistic missiles, Condi as Secretary of State will stand up in front of a TV camera, wag her finger, and say "I told you so!" like she actually had a clue.
Those kinds of kids were really annoying while I was grown up, and they're even more annoying now that they are grown up. The chorus should never be the people in charge.
